Not an expert here!

I just wanted to say that I'm not a nutrition expert and I'm not trying to be snooty or to say other people are "doing it wrong." I know there are lots of different schools of thought and ways of eating that work for different people. There are ideas that you should eat for your blood type. Low carb, high protein works for lots of people. Paleo/Primal seems to be a great diet and doesn't include junk our bodies weren't meant to digest. Vegan is just one of those options that we're giving a try. We are hoping to do this "experiment" for six months. But that's not set in stone and we aren't going to beat ourselves up if it just doesn't work. What we are committed to is eating mostly non-processed, whole foods. That's something I'd say we should ALL shoot for, whether it's protein, carbs, or liquid!
